Dave Winer says that Google has hired veteran Microsoft engineer Mark Lucovsky, and that this suggests a coming Google operating system. Lucovsky was a lead developer on Windows NT, though he more recently has focused on Web services.

I would guess that Google is more going for web services than rather than Windows NT. Windows NT was made so long ago, would they be bringing someone in from those days to lead the development of an operating system?
