Doing deals in Om's loo

Great post by Om (you’ll have to scroll down) about how a Silicon Valley Web 2.0 start-up entrepreneur got seed funding in the bathroom of Om’s San Francisco apartment the other night. The company is called Ookles, but is in stealth.

And the entrepreneur, Scott Johnson, says thanks:

One of the rules I’ve learned about being an entrepreneur is that you have to always be ready to pitch. You never know where or when you might have the opportunity. And, if it happens to be that the only private space is Om Malik’s bathroom, well, then that’s what you do. My thanks to Om for the use of his space.
