Amit Yoran’s quick resignation as chief of CIA’s venture arm

Yoran

Amit Yoran was appointed chief executive of In-Q-Tel in January, and has resigned already. Says he wants to travel less and spend more time with family. (Yep, there’s that familiar refrain again.)

This appears to have come as some surprise. There is no mention of successor plans, and he is still listed as chief executive at In-Q-Tel’s website (as of this writing). His predecessor, Gilman Louie, spent time nurturing relationships out here in Silicon Valley. Wonder who the successor will be.
