I think it is a great idea. I have bought a franchise site from Trading Networks. Check it out http://www.tradingmanchester.co.uk It is better than the best of because we offer so much more. We have great celebrity articles on the site, business news, local news and so much more. Trading Networks also supply you with a glossy magazine where they pay for the printing of the magazine. You can either buy the franchise or you can rent the franchise at £350 per month which is great.

I think Small Town are doing the right thing and giving people want they want. People are bored with business listing sites like the best of and want proper local sites like Small Town are doing, well done to them

It will be interesting to see if enough merchants will spend the time to fill out their Webcard and part with $40.00. Me thinks the cost-of-sale and client hand holding may be a little too much. We may think globally and act locally, but Craig’s list may be local enough?
