Seth Kenvin has joined Venrock Associates as an entrepreneur-in-residence, according to VentureWire (sub required).
He recently spent seven years with broadband company BigBand Networks, including as vice president of corporate development:
Kenvin plans to launch a new infrastructure company that advances broadband delivery of rich media services, specifically video over various types of networks, he said in an email. In addition to his EIR responsibilities, Kenvin is helping the firm source, qualify and work with portfolio company investments.
