Cyren Call's first-responder network in a pickle — FCC rejects spectrum request

The Federal Communications Commission has rejected the request by Cyren Call for to set aside a nationwide, wireless, broadband network for public safety that the company would manage.
Cyren Call, backed with $4 million from Battery Ventures, Columbia Capital, NEA and Oak Investment, had wanted to use 30 Mz band of the 700 Mz spectrum
It will now appeal to Congress for action.
