Big shakeup at Yahoo, Decker being groomed for CEO?

yahoologo.bmpYahoo announced a big shakeup, promoting Chief Financial Officer Susan Decker as a likely successor to the current chief executive, and recasting itself into three coherent business units. The move comes amid criticism Yahoo has failed to compete, and after long slow slide in its stock price.

Chief Technology Officer Farzad Nazem pictured below, will head the company’s technology unit. The third unit, focused on user activities, will incorporate things like media, communication, and other product groups.
