ICQ founders form start-up

icqlogo.bmpTwo founders of the company that built ICQ, the early instant message program bought by AOL and remaining one of the most popular messaging programs in the world, have started their own company.

One of the founders is Sefi Vigiser, according to a VentureBeat source. We hope to publish more details soon. Vigiser is one of five (or four, depending who is counting) Israelis who founded Mirabilis, which built ICQ, and which was sold to AOL for $287 million in 1998.
