RBA – you’re an idiot. “I know some of the details of why that failed but I was an eBay empoyee at that time and I shouldnâ€™t disclose”. Why bother putting up a response like that? The only reason is to try to make you feel important.

Yahoo also failed to acquire eBay at a time they could have done it easily. I know some of the details of why that failed but I was an eBay empoyee at that time and I shouldn’t disclose. I can tell however, the arguments were pretty ridiculous and in later acquisitions Yahoo has agreed to what it didn’t agree when negotiating with eBay.
