Hitachi Data Systems acquires Archivas, a digital storage company
Hitachi Data Systems, a Santa Clara, Calif. subsidiary of Hitachi, has agreed to acquire Archivas, a Waltham, Mass. digital archiving company.
The deal terms weren’t disclosed.

Archivas had raised about $28 million in financing from North Bridge Venture Partners, Polaris Venture Partners and Solstice Partners.
