Oodle appears to be the SimplyHired for classifieds. Instead of expecting users to come and search for classifieds, it pumps classifieds to sites where the user frequents. It is an interesting premise that you can reach more users by pushing it close to them. I think edgeio have a similar business model for classifieds. This new round of financing will help oodle with required resources differentiate itself and gain some more traction. A move in the right direction. We may expect some comments from Michael Arrington who is a stakeholder in edgeio.

Oodle is as different from craigslist as indeed is different from monster in the context of jobs.
Oodle is about aggregation content from numerous sources whereas everyone else is simply showing their own postings.
