		<description>I was personally disappointed from last.fm recommendation engine, so my take is; another music community site. I believe the next best thing is a community site WITH AN EDGE regarding recommendation. There have been some talks about meemix.com. I just registered to there Beta. If I understood correctly, they combine member behavior and music discovery to provide a station based on personal taste! Let me know if you get invited.</description>

Their mobile and groups functionalities extend into things like a commercial product for bars and clubs that incorporates requests by SMS, photo sharing, etc.  I&#039;m not a big user of the service, but they are certainly more than a Last.fm knock off :)</description>
