Daylife, a company that helps publishers find ways to add other content to their Web sites, has raised an $8.3 million round of funding.

The round was led by Balderton Capital, formerly Benchmark Capital Europe, and included venture firm Arts Alliance, the company said in a statement.

The Daylife technology searches for relationships between news, newsmakers, timelines, photos, trends and more, and offers relevant news up for a site’s readers.

It said customers include Huffington Post, TreeHugger and The World Economic Forum.

VentureBeat may look at this technology more deeply.
