Howdy,

Maker of the Visual Bookshelf app here.

Just as a clarification, my app never dispatched any emails (but did have a mass invite option, per the status quo). I've been profitable and growing pretty steadily/uniformly despite the changes, although it seems like the whole app craze has calmed a bit. It's a real app with real use.

http://appaholic.com/index.php?display=2481647302

Check it out for yourself:

http://apps.facebook.com/facebookshelf

On another note, anyone want to own a monetized facebook app? :-)

There are still a few kinks Facebook and the makers of Appsaholic are trying to iron out. We appreciate your patience as we try to fix these issues. Your problem has been logged - if it persists, please come back in a few days. Thanks!

Facebook appears to let developers duplicate each others' app names. As readers will also notice from the charts in this article, there's more than one "Books" app.

Thankfully, though, Appsaholic and Appaholic avoid such confusion via an "s".
