As Emre mentioned, Virtualmin, the Open Source project, has been around for a few years (four, to be precise, and its older brother Webmin is ten years old this year). Virtualmin Professional is quite a bit more recent--and a good part of the time it has been public it has been in unpublicized open beta. Our participation in YC did trigger a corporate re-org at the beginning of this year. We started marketing this week, and plan to remove the beta label as soon as I roll out the installer for FreeBSD so we can add it to the officially supported OS list.

This new version is looking very good. I've been using the old version on a FreeBSD box. I believe their software works on most UNIX systems.
