Plexus Biomed pulls in $2M for hemorrhoid relief
Plexus Biomedical, an Oakland, Tenn., device maker, raised $2 million in a first round of funding, VentureWire reports (subscription required). The investors were undisclosed investment funds.
Plexus is developing a device it hasn’t said much about, although a government Web site revealed that Plexus is conducting a clinical trial of a device intended to reduce hemorrhoids during vaginal delivery.
