Ben Behrouzi, who founded lead-generation site Reply.com, has launched ePerks.com, a site that promises consumers discounted offers from local service providers.

Internet Retailer has the story.

The initial focus will be on auto dealers and real estate agents, the primary groups served by Reply.com, and home improvement contractors. But Behrouzi [26] says the site will expand in about a month to include dry cleaners, movers, health clubs, medical professionals, retailers and others…Behrouzi will charge a fee for providers to be listed on ePerks.com, offering exclusivity within a market for a price.

The company is based in Pleasanton, Calif.

EPerks is a division of Brabus Ventures Corp. Behrouzi has self funded the company and said he may seek outside capital in the coming year.

ePerks is making some real estate agents unhappy. I wonder why would you create a Reply.com clone and give it a different name? It does not make sense to me.
