Good article. A couple of counterpoints to Scoble&#039;s arguments:

1. The market for search will expand beyond semantic search engines, hence Google will likely coexist with the likes of Mahalo, Techmeme, Facebook, etc.

2. Lexical search presents the largest, albeit most difficult, opportunity to challenge Google. Common language (regardless of language) words and phrases will likely be the most adaptable search engine acceptance amongst the worldwide population of Internet users. A search engine which solves this problem will likely topple all other search engines, period.</description>
