Bain acquires 3Com, the voice and data networking company
Bain Capital Partners, a private investment firm, has signed a definitive merger agreement to acquire 3Com Corporation for approximately $2.2 billion in cash. Under the terms of the agreement, 3Com shareholders will receive $5.30 in cash for each share of common stock they hold.
