Housekeeping, VentureBeat's coming redesign

1) We’re in the process of doing a site redesign and we’re considering moving to a river-of-content format. We’ll flow everything, including our news wire items, through a single, main column on the page. The news wire items, however will be kept to mere links, so that the hard-core investor types can click on the links and read the wire stories, but our general readers won’t be subject to them. Let us know what you think (in comments). We’ll show off a redesign mockup in a few days.

2) Latest jobs on VentureBeat’s job board:

–PHP engineers, for SimplyHired, a company that calls itself the “Google of Jobs” (based in Mountain View, Calif.).
–Pre-MBA Associate, for a San Francisco Bay Area venture capital firm, Summer 08 (This firms wants “sense of humor,” “high-energy levels”)

More here.

3) Today is last day to take VentureBeat Reader Survey (we’re grateful for the feedback)
