When you're playing street b-ball you'd step up and say-just bring it. Its game on right now. And Google just brought in their 7ft cousin from downtown to play.
  • There's a lot of geek speak on the Open Social announcement. If you need to explain it to executives, I've tried to make it very clear and concise from this post, weighing the pros and cons.

Love to hear any feedback, even if you don't agree.
  • I've written a basic comparison of OpenSocial to the Facebook platform. It's a bit harsh but OpenSocial appears to of been released early and I find it difficult to believe that this gang of players can move together quickly. I expected Ning to be more agile but I imagine integration is a lot slower at other companies. Long term I'm gunning for this but I see a lot of hurdles on the track.
