Aggregate Knowlegde claims to have developed a "Discovery network." However, Aggregate Knowledge doesn't provide concrete examples of this network in action nor does it illustrate where this network is operational --or IF it is operational.

Currently, Aggregate Knowledge lists only single site recommendation clients as customers. And rather anonymous ones at that (does one really need a super computer to provide wine recs for Vinfolio.com? how many possible SKUs can they have?) Therefore, we are left to ask: why go to market with a "Discovery Network" prior to having the proof points?

This would be like DoubleClick or aQuantive launching a "branded youth ad network" prior to having signed up any demographically clustered sites for an actual media buy. Sure it is possible in theory, but as a media buyer, I'd like to see the numbers.

I smell FUD w/ a hint of vaporware.
