What I want to know is when the Earth goes through its next cooling cycle and
Global Cooling/the next Ice Age is the rage du jour, will Al & Company be
trying to find ways to *warm* the Earth?

I think from an early stage investing perspective, global cooling should be
the seed funding occuring now, let’s get on that wave early!

Gore may not know BIPV or CSP but if you go to the Fortune article he does know Immelt CEO of GE and can talk to him about Ausra and its need for smaller turbines. His contacts are what he is there for.

Although there’s certainly PR value to this, can Al Gore really help KP make investment decisions?

Example: Does Al Gore even know the difference between BIPV and CSP (by their acronyms)? This is “Solar Power 101″ stuff. I suspect he does not know the difference. Hence, can he really make investment decisions?
