A stealth company operating in Fremont, Calif. has picked up an undisclosed round of funding from VantagePoint Ventures
Senergen is developing a technology for silicon-based photovoltaic cells, according to Clean Technology Investor, which found the information on VantagePoint’s website. However, the firm declined to comment, and there appears to no longer be any information about Senergen on the site.
The Senergen website only has two executive bio’s. A Dr. Sinha is listed as having experience in UHP polysilicon deposition and other technologies involved in making silicon cells. The other, Pravin Jain, formerly started a telecom company that was acquired by Enron.
