I agree with the FTC ruling; I don't think that the Google/DoubleClick merger poses a threat to competition in the advertising arena itself, and there are a lot of powerful new entrants to the online advertising scene that should provide ample competition (AdBrite, Chikita, AuctionAds, Text Link Ads, etc...) This is another step towards Google becoming the largest advertising network in the world, if it isn’t already.
