Great article, Leonid.  I just want to comment on one minor inaccuracy.  You said that publishers who don&#039;t join the QPP have to resort to takedown notices, but that is not true.  Any valid copyright holder is welcome to join our text matching system, whether they publish works to Scribd or not.

Oh, and divShare recently entered the TechCrunch deadpool, so they&#039;re probably not much competition.  :-)</description>
