As if there were not enough, I would like to point out a site I'm involved with:

www.prooftrader.com

It is a collaborative stock picking site with an emphasis on writing articles that others' will find interesting, as well as of course tracking users' returns over time. In terms of the accountability, each user is given a 1 - 100 score indicating how well they've done.

Peer following and performance sharing will not protect you from the bubble which technically should be the main goal of any investor in volatile markets. I have been using macroaxis.com for the last 3 months and event thought they are also in early beta, I could get some real leverage from them to be able to reduce market risk of my portfolios. The problem is that you can only see the results of diversification when it bubbles - performance following will not protect you from the big one. Or am I wrong?

Hey David, thanks for including Zecco in your post.

While you're at Zecco, you should check out ZeccoShare. Our community, like some of the other companies mentioned here, allows users to share their real portfolios and trades on individual profile pages, join discussions in forums and groups, post blogs, communicate with other users directly, and compare member performance.

Also, I wanted to point out a very small (and understandable) mistake in the Location: it's Ontario, California, not Ontario, Canada.
