If candidates relied only on public financing, many more people cwould be able to compete for public office. Moreover, they might just be judged on their merits, not their millions.

My question about Lessig is whether he has the political chops to campaign day after day in pursuit of this job. Running for Congress is not for the faint of heart.</description>
