Peter Leahy starts venture capital firm for videos games/entertainment
Video game industry veteran Peter Leahy has started a venture capital firm and is raising $20 million to invest in creative properties including video games, toys, TV shows and graphic novels.
According to Venture Wire, Incubation Venture Partners LLC will be the venture capital arm of Incubate Group Corp., which itself is an incubator for new media companies. Leahy is CEO of Incubate Group Corp. in San Francisco.
The fund will be called Azcatl Seed Capital Fund I and is expected to close April 1. For more information, go to www.incubategroup.com.
