Yeh, the iphone is so much more useful now that the SDK has been released and there are so many apps for it.

Its a shame apple are taking such a tough stance over the SDK for the iPhone, however on the flip side of things they are providing distribution through iTunes, giving many programmers the exposure they need for their software.

Well with ATTs new plan to knock $200 off the I phone, sales of the Iphone will improve regardless. Fact is that the iphone is hands down the best phone out there, so this should not hurt sales one bit...The future web apps in Miami was very interesting...

If Apple exercises tight control over their development kit, then people will just be forced to keep on jailbreaking the phone and making their own programmes for it. I understand why Apple wants to keep the iPhone closed (money), but they would really be more successful in the long run if they opened the system up. Unfortunately, the Apple development kit is hardly that.
