A very well written article. Thank you!

As you know, the recent rule changes for sellers on eBay have caused an ongoing mass seller boycott. Many sellers have been boycotting since early February and another big push is scheduled for May 1st and beyond. It makes sense that this would hurt the bottom line of the auction business.

It looks like eBay's new business plan is designed to get rid of the little sellers. These are the very sellers who have brought the famous and unique "IT" that eBay touts so highly.

I believe that in it's zeal to protect buyers, eBay forgot that the sellers were it's real customers. I don't know what happens to a company that manages to enrage 99% of its customers at the same time, but it can't be good.

@Dave: Yeah, I was pointing it out more because I thought it was silly and funny, not because I thought it actually means anything.

Dave: yes. This means 21% of people are smart. I would tell a random series of letters, get a candy and a kiss, and go away before they find out my password is crap.

That isn't really much of a study... there's no confirmation that anyone gave out a *real* password. Hell, I would have just made something up on the spot. I even have a fake birthday I routinely use for sites that ask for one. Okay, maybe I'm just paranoid, but still... people can come up with statistics to prove anything. 14% of people know that.
