Wishpot, a gift registry and shopping service, gets $1M
Based on the same general idea of saving your shopping history and favorite items that Kaboodle, ThisNext and others follow, Wishpot has added a level of purpose to its service by targeting the gift registry market.
Potential uses for Wishpot might include saving items to a wedding or baby shower registry, or for upcoming birthdays. Users, of course, can also save items they’d like to give themselves at some point.
The $1 million funding was reported by John Cook. The investment was led by Monster Venture Partners, with participation from Curious Office Partners and a web developer called H-Farm.
