Hey Liz -- understandable concern. I didn't get into it in the post, but one of Greg's (the CEO's) main concerns is user privacy. All the data is anonymous, and he wants to give users full control, whether they want to drop off the radar for a bit, delete their data, or take it elsewhere (to another company or app).

I might note that if you've got a cell phone, you're already tracked. That's how the things work. Mobile providers keep it all in-house, but law enforcement can tap in sometimes, I believe.

Maybe I've seen too many Law & Order episodes but I don't think I want to be "tracked". I see the usefulness of getting information on local activities, stores, events but not sure if my friends would want to be tracked either. Any way to secure the "historical data" part of the equation?
