Thank you for this refreshing transparency on the VC process. We are in Silicon Valley and VCs are omnipresent here, but as mentioned, they only account a small portion of the economy, there are just “alternative investment” after all. Meanwhile 97% of the top 5000 fastest growing companies from the Inc Magazine list never touched VC money, and they are doing fine thank you.
And actually the VC route is the worse possible route for entrepreneurs. As mentioned at the end of the post: “venture capital is an expensive form of capital and that you should raise it only if you really need it”.
