No suprises. With broadband the norm, the rise of consumer video habits and a plethora of agency and SME video solutions and ideas the advertiser can now really engage their audience with video advertising and content via the PC and increasingly through the take-up of the ‘new’ devices. A targeted engaging piece of video vs. dead trees and mass broadcast. If anything the video forecast is undercooked.

Let battle commence.

I started to do up a post, but fell down a rabbit hole of research. I'm too tired to finish, so hopefully I'll get to it tomorrow.

Bottom line? eMarketer must be just plain old making up data. Nothing they say in this report agrees with anything else they've ever said with regard to US Online Video Ad Spending. And nothing they've said in the past agrees with anything else they've said in the past.

It's like it's all random numbers. Like I said, hopefully, I'll get time to elaborate tomorrow at my blog.
