VentureBeat is looking for a Director of Sales

VentureBeat is looking for an experienced, creative and driven media salesperson to be our Director of Sales.

The successful candidate will work closely with founder Matt Marshall and VentureBeat’s business development manager to lead a revenue growth strategy that expands beyond standard IAB ad-units into high-impact custom sponsorship packages, premium events and content distribution deals.

Our audience consists of the decision makers and power brokers of the technology start-up world, and our events attract speakers and attendees of the highest caliber. We recently began syndicating our content to the New York Times. We’re looking for someone who can translate our growing brand strength into compelling value propositions for top-quality brands and advertisers.

The ideal candidate has five to ten years of experience, an outstanding Rolodex and a track record for conceiving and selling innovative marketing packages to premium clients.
