You may want to think about email overload as an operating cultural issue. Individual management of email is only going to accomplish so much. Rather, rethinking email as a collaboration tool (and an employee engagement tool) should cause executives to rethink the operating model that they use to manage intellectual assets such as employee contribution … here's a write-up that might put context around thinking differently about the role that email should play in an organization

its a e-mail search program which runs in outlook! i like it very much, because it always finds the right e-mail which i were searching for...it also search through attachments like pdf and everything else...beside this it is very fast too and really easy to work with...i just can say "try it" i don´t promise you to much!!

Looks like some nice stuff, but the problem with basic mail clients is that the cutting edge has long since moved on.

Microsoft, Cisco and my own company Unison (www.unison.com) have all released software that combine e-mail, instant messaging, telephony, presence, contacts, calendars etc into a single experience. Even Gmail is moving in that direction.

Unified communications renders basic email obsolete -- and in a few years it will seem absurd that people used to have standalone email clients.
