Matt and Shira, doing 24-hour video competition at Sundance

Folks, it’s light posting here usually on Saturdays, so why not join us today on our mission to win the “24 Hours @ Sundance” competition here in Park City, Utah.

I’ll be dashing around the film festival grounds here at Sundance. I’m teamed with the fearless Shira Lazar. We’ve got to fulfill a series of tasks, some likely ridiculous, others scandalous, and perhaps more mundane — we just don’t know. We have to video the tasks live, with our Qik players. The 24 Hours at Sundance competition is co-hosted by actor Ashton Kutcher, and we’re going up against three other teams. We’re told to be ready to embarrass ourselves in front of thousands. The goal is to profile new ways of integrating media production with technology. I’ve asked, and there’s nothing like this been done before.

Here’s the link to our page. You can leave us comments in the widget if you have an advice or tips for us — they’ll arrive on our phone. (Note, you’ll only see a place to comment if our phones are recording live. Occasionally, we might have to turn them off, as we hit save upon completion of tasks. Then you won’t see any comment area; although you can try hitting the bubble symbol on bottom right). The posts are also available on this channel in YouTube. See an earlier video above.

You can see our live footage below the jump.
