Hi5 is big in Mexico, Romania and Thailand: Unfortunately, these countries are VERY difficult to make money from. How do we know? We are developers on the Hi5 platform and have millions of users, but the users are relatively worthless - ask any developer on Hi5. The "jackpot" headline is sensationalist and not grounded in any data other than Hi5 having"60 million" active users. I'd rather have 1 million active users in the United States, UK, Australia, Japan, South Korea or Germany than 60 million active users in poor countries. Hi5 is making the right decision by differentiating itself to survive, but I'd hardly call survival a "jackpot."

Hi5 is useless...60 million users?? All from South America and Romania..... Everyone in the UK, America and Canada (the key money spinning markets) will continue to use Facebook, where according to Alexa its still the 5th most popular website (Hi5 comes in at 83rd).

http://www.alexa.com/site/ds/top_sites?cc=US&ts...

Nice try Hi5, but Facebook will continue to rule.
