Alios nabs $8.4M to treat viruses
South San Francisco-based Alios BiopPharma just brought in $8.4 million in first-round funding from Novo, Novartis BioVentures and Roche Finance, according to peHUB. The company develops treatments for viruses by activating various parts of the normal human immune system.
