It was not a surprise for most industry insiders. Weeks leading up to E3 almost every video game outlet said Microsoft was going to show their new motion controller and on 1UP’s Listen UP podcast Garnett Lee called it "crazy Minority Report shit". Project Natal was shown and Microsoft has now joined Nintendo in marketing ads with families waving their arms making future air traffic controller.
Project Natal is impressive but can it move units at Wii like levels? I say, in Japan it could sell millions. Peter Molyneux, head of Lionhead Studios, a man with so much charm he could convince me to buy his house, shows off Project Milo. The moment I saw that demostration two thoughts went through my head.
1. I am a 25 yr old male with a healthy social life and I do not want to spend time with a virtual 14 yr old boy. It would make me feel very uncomfortable.
2. Holy crap this could sell millions of 360′s to Japan.
It’s simple Microsoft.
Replace this kid.
I don’t get it either. Personally, I still wouldn’t buy it if you threw in fabricated online idols; but I do know one thing Microsoft. You will sell millions of 360′s if you replaced Milo with Hatsune Miku. It doesn’t even have to be Hatsune Miku, it can just be high school girls, it will sell!
