Liveblogging the keynote speech at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference

What will Apple marketing head Phil Schiller announce during his keynote speech at the Worldwide Developers Conference? Will it just be boring, incremental enhancements to the iPhone, or something bigger? If it’s the latter, might the announcement come during a surprise guest appearance by chief executive Steve Jobs?

There’s been plenty of speculation in the past few months, but Apple-watchers will have their answers in just a few hours (the keynote starts at 10am Pacific time). VentureBeat writers Dean Takahashi, Paul Boutin, and I are all attending the speech in San Francisco, and you can learn the news at the same time we do by reading our liveblog in FriendFeed, which I’ve embedded below. Feel free to post comments and questions in there too.
