I have a 3G iphone but I went into settings then general then network but no tethering came up. I uploaded latest version 3.0 and still the same as last time I upgraded. I now have more apps etc.

I even re booted. Still same.

If this ever does work to use iPhone as modem, what's this about warning it can cost me through AT &T?

I'm paying for cell and 3G stick just 1 GIG but iPhone is 6 GIGS. Fido(system I'm with over since they born) and they(
fido) suggested go to nearest Apple Kiosk(?) to fix/set up iPhone as modem tether it.

I'm not much on computer and very busy lots to learn no time. Just need this accomplished...

Richard

works! using it now, it does disable your visual voicemail but I am sure that will be addressed shortly. The speeds are great and it was comically easy to do.
