Thanks for the write-up. One clarification – we do not sell a version of Drupal. Our distro – Acquia Drupal – is freely available for download by anyone. Its the same Drupal core and community contributed modules that are available on drupal.org, but packaged together to get started fast.

What we sell are annual subscriptions to the Acquia Network – which technical support and cloud-based services like Acquia Search.
