Cornell University sponsors video contest for entrepreneurs

cornelleCornell is the online learning arm of Cornell University, one of America’s toughest engineering and science colleges. The school is holding a video contest for entrepreneurs to submit “a 30- to 60-second video that explains or demonstrates their process for understanding what customers want and satisfying their needs.”

First prize is more homework: The winner gets a $3,500-value class in product and service design. Second and third place winners get two eCornell product design courses for free. Fourth prize is, you’re fired. Just kidding. Winners will be selected “based on quality of response, creativity, and methodology,” the official release on the contest says, and will be announced on December 14th.

Submission deadline is November 30th. See eCornell’s website for more details.
