Blio makes e-readers even more bookish — Slated to launch at the Consumer Electronics Show next week, Blio is an e-reader service that renders content to look just like real books. Devised by futurist Ray Kurzweil, the platform will work on the iPhone, PCs, and forthcoming tablets, and will debut with a million books already in its catalogue.
Tim Cook makes bank babysitting Apple — Apparently the chief operating officer was granted $12.3 million in company stock for leading the company during Steve Jobs’ health hiatus this year. He also got a raise of $100,000, making his total take for the year $14 million.
Outside launches beautiful weather app – iPhone app developer Outside has debuted its new weather application for the iPhone created by Robocat. It combines weather forecasts with push notifications and beautiful graphics for a user experience superior to the iPhone’s built-in weather app.
