Mimosa Systems swallows $1.8M to archive email and data

Mimosa Systems, maker of software that archives email and other data, has brought in $1.8 million of an anticipated $2.6 million in securities, warrants and debt financing. Based in Santa Clara, Calif., the company is backed by Clearstone Venture Partners, August Capital, Dot Edu Ventures, Focus Ventures, Jafco Ventures and Mayfield Fund.
