Posit Science crams $2.4M to keep your brain sharp

Posit Science, maker of software tools designed to maintain and improve brain fitness as people age, has brought in $2.4 million in equity, a fourth-round of preferred stock and common stock issuable upon conversion of fourth-round stock, according to a filing with the SEC. Based in San Francisco, the company received its recent financing from existing investors Aberdare Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and VSP Capital. It has now raised $8 million to date. Cooley Godward and Kronish has also backed the company in the past.
