Virobay raises $300K to treat hepatitis C and autoimmune disorders
Virobay, developer of biological inhibitors to hepatitis C — which could also be used to treat autoimmune diseases, liver diseases, osteoporosis and some types of cancer — has brought in $300,000 in debt financing, according to a filing with the SEC. Based in Menlo Park, Calif., the company is backed by Alta Partners, Sutter Hill Ventures and TPG Growth.
