Bitmob/1UP Field Week: Reach Screenshot Contest

Welcome to day 2 of the Bitmob/1UP Field Week, everyone! As anyone who follows me on Twitter or listens to my podcast knows, I'm totally in love with the Halo: Reach Beta. So when our dear friend Alex R. Cronk-Young asked me to come up with a Reach inspired event for the week's festivities, I jumped at the chance. Rather than do a tournament or a simple game night, I thought it would be fun to flex our creative muscles and have a screenshot contest.

Here's how this will work. In the comments below, post your gamertag. On Thursday morning I will post a reminder about the event along with a list of gamertags for all the participants so that everyone can friend up and play together. Thursday night starting at 9pm EST time and going on until whenever, we'll start getting some matches of Reach going. Now here comes the fun part.

Attach the flag!

After you've played your fill of matches, jump into the theater mode and replay some of your favorite matches. While doing so, look for screenshots of you doing something cool. Using the in-game tools, snap the photo and upload it to your file share. Now here's the important part. Make sure you tag your photo with the tag "BitmobFW". On Friday morning I'll go through the screenshots and create a post with some of my favorites. I'll also pick a winner, and hopefully we can rustle up some sort of prize.

Faceoff

So everyone reach into your inner Frank West (he's covered wars, you know), and practice those virtual camera skills.
